Research and development are the foundation of economic growth and social wealth. The funds allocated for innovation within Europe are increasingly transnational. The European Union is in the process of creating a genuine “European Research Area”.

Beside national budgets and private investors, the research programmes of the EU have become an important driving force of the R&D in Western Europe. For some time now the European research funds have been opened up to interested parties in other parts of the world.

Therefore, the opportunities offered by the EU have become attractive for an increasing number of research institutions, networks and companies. At the same time, however, many of the eligible researchers are scared off by difficult application procedures, intransparent allocation criteria and complicated evaluation procedures.

To be able to provide professional and cost-effective support to interested companies and non-commercial organisations, Euro P.A. has created a department which deals with R&D. In this area we inform clients about the content and mechanisms of the European research funds; we support the project development and ensure the necessary political follow-up.
